Zabeda is leading ESP IT Consultancy to develop IT solutions that improves communication in real-time between clinical professionals, patient and carer across sectors to aid the urgent, emergency and crisis care pathways. The aim of these solutions is to enable continuity of care, identify expected outcomes, and reduce the “start again” approach to care. A Registered Nurse, Zabeda has years of healthcare experience working in both the public and private sectors, the NHS Trusts and in private organisations in the community. Zabeda understands the barriers that patients and healthcare professionals face on a daily basis.

Zabeda founded ESP IT Consultancy Ltd as there was a gap in the market for digital solutions that supports the continuity of care at handover. This lack of adequate information impacts on the delivery of care. Zabeda's goal is to see systems within the health service, where information is available to clinicians in real-time for the delivery of care, and to support the patient on their journey to recovery back to their daily life. 

Zabeda has successfully promoted her work to the technical team of NHS England and the research council so that real-time handovers can be included in their digital startegies. She currently contributes to the formation of the national information standards that is lead by NHS Digital, the PRSB and the Royal College of Physicians.
